ASM 2008 Hong Kong

Over 615 delegates attended the ASM in Hong Kong in February 2008. This was USANZ's first offshore meeting for 35 years. New ground was broken, both educationally and in involving Asian countries in our Society through the Scientific Meeting.

In recognition of over 25 years of exceptional service to the Society - as an Examiner, President of ANZAUS and President of the Society

Fellow of the Society: John D Taylor

In recognition of  numerous contributions, including teaching, research and training. John established the "Complications of Pelvic Surgery" course with Ian Hammond, which is now a permanent fixture in the third year of Urological training.  John has had a long interest in Urogynecology and continues to work at KEMH for women, where he provides invaluable urological service. John's dedication, friendship and collegiate spirit will be missed by all his colleagues now he has retired.
