Michael Nugara - Chief Executive Officer 

Michael brings extensive experience in operations management to USANZ.  During his career, Michael has worked in the manufacturing sector, education and more recently in the energy industry. Michael's experience is in the areas of operations management, outsourced services, facilities and regulatory compliance management.


Nick Danes - Chief Operating Officer
Nick has over 25 years experience as an audit and risk management and compliance professional within the demanding financial services and banking industry. He was responsible for providing the principle and guidance for designing, developing and coordinating the implementation of risk and compliance frameworks within the business. During his time in audit he was responsible for planning and conduct of audits within Institutional Banking (Financial Markets, Corporate and Premium Banking), Retail and Business Banking, Financial Services and Wealth Management.


Deborah Klein - Education & Training Manager
Deborah Klein manages the Surgical Education and Training Program in Urology. She supports the Board of Urology, co-ordinates the selection process, administers the training program and the hospital inspection process. Deborah also organises Trainee Week and a range of seminars and scientific meetings, for trainees and Society members.

 

Vaughan Parkinson  CPA, FCIS - Financial Controller
Vaughan has substantial experience in the accounting, reporting and compliance management of the banking and financial services sector including retail banking products, public unit trusts, derivative financial products, and foreign exchange. Vaughan also has considerable financial management and control experience of commercial sales and services businesses operating in groups and under private and public company structures.

 

Louise Reeson, PRIAS Project Database Manager

Louise has over 13 years experience in not-for-profit organisations spanning health, local government and accounting. Louise joined USANZ in 2007 and since February 2012 she has been the PRIAS Project Database Manager, following USANZ’s formal acknowledgement of Active Surveillance as a treatment option for suitable men with localised prostate cancer and its decision to partner with the International PRIAS Project (PRIAS = Prostate cancer Research International: Active Surveillance).

Louise liaises with international Project Managers, based in the Netherlands, and the USANZ PRIAS Steering Committee - regarding operational requirements of the PRIAS database. Louise provides support and assistance to USANZ members who contribute data to the PRIAS project, and is also responsible for promoting the benefits of the PRIAS project to urologists and preparing user manuals, fact sheets and the like. Louise also manages the content of the PRIAS page on the USANZ website and liaises with project sponsors.

 

Audraí O'Dwyer, Communications Manager

Audraí brings a wealth of knowledge to USANZ, having previously held the position as Managing Editor of the BJU International for over 5 years.  Audraí has exceptional communication, event and project management skills from her extensive experience in international marketing, event management, publishing and public relations, across several industry sectors.

Audraí is responsible for all of USANZ communications including advertising, the Society website and eNews.  Audraí works closely with the Convenor in coordinating the Annual Scientific Meeting, as well as other USANZ events.
