Box Hill Hospital Applications are invited for the position of Box Hill Hospital Urology Fellow for 2010. Box Hill Hospital is a busy General Hospital servicing the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. The Urology Unit has 6 Urologists providing most aspects of General Urology with specific interests in Uro-Oncology, Reconstructive Urology and Urinary Stone Surgery. This position would be suitable for an Australasian SET 6 with an interest in Uro-Oncology. The successful applicant would be expected to be available for 2 outpatient sessions and 5 operating sessions per week, as well as being responsible for the preparation of the Uro-Oncology Multi-Disciplinary Meeting and some Audit activity. Ward Service and On-Call responsibilities are to be shared with the Urology Trainee (usually SET 4 or SET 5). |

Hunter New England Area Health Service, Newcastle Fellowship in Uro-Oncology: Temporary Full Time for 12 months This role was proposed by the Urology department to build succession planning into the medical workforce. The opportunity may exist for the successful candidate to progress to a consultant position at the end of the Fellowship. Additionally, it is expected that the appointment will also provide assistance in maintenance of the transplant service. |
