Generic Surgical Sciences Examination - Urological Society Australia New Zealand, an association for urological surgeons

The Generic Surgical Sciences Examination consists of:

a 20 question Generic Spot Test Anatomy based question paper
an 80 question Generic multiple choice question (MCQ) Anatomy based question paper
a 120 question Generic MCQ Pathology/Physiology based question paper

A minimum standard is required in each of the anatomy, physiology and pathology sections of the examination, at the same sitting, before a candidate can be deemed to have passed the generic examination.

Trainees must register and pay the applicable fee for the examinations. There are strict closing dates applied by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS). The examinations are managed by the RACS and information can be obtained using the link below.
