More About the Society

The Society:

  • administers the Surgical Education and Training (SET) Program in Urology through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons
  • organises Continuing Professional Development activities for members
  • represents the views of urologists to governments, the health sector and medical industry
  • works with advocacy and support groups such as the Cancer Councils, Kidney Australia, and the Continence Foundation
  • provides information on urology to the media
  • holds an Annual Scientific Meeting
  • publishes a newsletter, "Society News"
  • oversees some of the grants and prizes available to urologists.
