The Society:
- administers the Surgical Education and Traini
ng (SET) Prog ram in Urology through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons - organises Continuing Professional Development activities for members
- represents the views of urologists to governments, the health sector and medical industry
- works with advocacy and support groups such as the Cancer Councils, Kidney Australia, and the Continence Foundation
- provides information on urology to the media
- holds an Annual Scientific Meeting
- publishes a newsletter, "Society News"
- oversees some of the grants and prizes available to urologists.
