All trainees are expected to maintain a surgical logbook. A logbook summary must be provided to the Training Supervisor and Regional Training Committee Chair each quarter, when the in-training assessment report is being completed.
Trainees are also required to use the Morbidity Audit and Logbook Tool (MALT) to record operative exposure.
The following resources may be of assistance:
- MALT information on the RACS website
- SNOMED Urology Handbook (incl. Quick Guide) - a useful resource on how to use and troubleshoot the logbook
- Board Reporting Terms (as at October 2018) NB: this is a 9MB excel file
