Training Post Accreditation

The Board of Urology is responsible for the inspection and accreditation of all SET Urology training posts across Australia and New Zealand. This ensures that hospitals and training posts provide high-quality learning environments that support the development of safe and competent urological surgeons.

The accreditation framework is based on eight core educational, clinical, and governance standards. These standards are designed to ensure trainees have access to the experience, supervision, and resources required to achieve the competencies set by the Board of Urology.

Applications for Accreditation

Hospitals seeking accreditation or reaccreditation of a SET Urology Training Post must complete both application forms below. Applications must be endorsed by a senior member of Hospital Administration and the Training Supervisor.
