Tasmanian Section Meeting 2022 – Keynote Speaker and Award for Best Registrar Presentation

The Tasmanian Section Meeting 2022 was held at the Wrest Point Hotel from 11 – 12 November. The Society wants to thank the Convenor of the Meeting, Dr Frank Redwig, as well as the Keynote Speaker, Professor Nathan Lawrentschuk.

We are happy to share the news that Henry Pan received the Robbie Roberts Prize for the best registrar presentation at the Meeting. Henry has received $2,500 towards expenses to attend the USANZ 2023 ASM in Melbourne. Congratulations on your achievement, Henry! We look forward to seeing you in Melbourne next year.

First introduced in 2019, the Robbie Roberts Prize is an annual award for the best registrar presentation at the Tasmanian Section Meeting. The prize was named in honour of Douglas ‘Robbie’ Roberts, a strong supporter of Launceston General Hospital registrars and local registrar training for over 60 years.
