TGA Website Update on Urogynaecological Meshes

Information for health practitioners regarding the up-classification on urogynaecological meshes has been updated on the TGA website.

The update includes a list of urogynaecological mesh devices included in the ARTG that have met the regulatory requirements for the re-classification to Class III medical devices. Supply of these devices under the existing Class IIb ARTG entry has been approved by the TGA from 1 December 2020 until the Class III ARTG entry is published.
