USANZ Representative at the AUA 2023 Early Career Investigators Showcase
The American Urological Association recently held its Annual Meeting in Chicago. The Society was pleased to hear of the success of one of our Members, Amanda Chung, who participated in the 2023 AUA Research Forum: Early Career Investigators Showcase.
Showcasing the work of early career investigators, this forum is dedicated to highlighting innovative, relevant and impactful urological research. Nominees were identified from urological associations across the world and travelled to display posters of their work at the conference in Chicago. Amanda was selected as the USANZ nominee following an EOI that was sent to our Members in February this year.
Of the 30 or so participants who displayed their posters at the forum, just 10 were selected as speakers. The Society was absolutely delighted to hear that Amanda was chosen to deliver a presentation on her work.
Amanda presented research on Detrusor ultrastructural studies in human lower urinary tract dysfunction: correlation of structural features and function.
