Medical Training Survey

The 2026 Medical Training Survey (MTS) is now open, and all eligible urology trainees are encouraged to participate.

The national, anonymous and confidential survey gives doctors in training an opportunity to share feedback about their training programs and posts, supervision, access to teaching, workplace culture and wellbeing. The results help identify strengths and areas for improvement in medical training, workplace conditions and patient safety.

The survey is open to all doctors in training in Australia, including interns, resident medical officers, non-accredited trainees, registrars and specialist trainees. International medical graduates with limited or provisional registration are also eligible.

Most trainees can complete the MTS after renewing their medical registration. Interns and eligible international medical graduates can access it by signing in to their AHPRA portal and selecting the MTS portal task.

Sign into the AHPRA portal to complete the survey.

The survey runs from August until early October 2026.
