USANZ is proud to announce that Prem Rashid, our Past President, has been promoted to full Professor at the University of NSW. This Level E Conjoint appointment reflects his exemplary contribution to the University and to the medical field more broadly. Congratulations Professor Rashid!

 

USANZ Lecture at Paulista Meeting of Urology

USANZ is pleased to announce that our Member, Dr Nathalie Webb, will deliver the USANZ Lecture for 2024 at the upcoming XVIII Paulista Meeting of Urology. This event, which is hosted by the Brazilian Society of Urology, Section of São Paulo, will be held from 4 - 7 September at the WTC Events Center.

Dr Webb, a paediatric urological surgeon from Melbourne, is the Chief of Surgery at the Royal Children's Hospital. Her USANZ Lecture in São Paulo is provisionally entitled: "Beyond Apprenticeship: Competency-based approaches to training and assessment in Urology." Dr Webb brings a high level of expertise to such discussions of training, as she currently serves as an Examiner for the Urology Specialty Court at RACS and is a member of the Curriculum Resdesign Committee for USANZ.

USANZ warmly congratulates Dr Webb and wishes her the best for her participation in the São Paulo meeting. We look forward to hearing about her experiences when she returns.
